- Value by grade: 50 bronze for bronze, 5 silver for silver, 50 silver for gold.
- Bronze to silver needs Books II and Book writing mastery 7; silver to gold needs Storytelling I and mastery 8. The improve step never fails.
- A good money loop: buy bronze Stories at the Tavern, improve them to gold at the Writing Desk, then sell the gold Story.
- Keep gold Stories in stock: Printed Poetry needs 1 and the Trilogy needs 3.
- Do not give the Captain 10 Faith for a bronze Story: writing one costs only 3 Faith.
