Once Finding Old God and High Price are done, rest at home until a visitor hands you the Red Eye. It opens the wall to Mauritzio's Cheese Cellar in the Sewers, where the Old God waits, and you must decide whether to give the eye back or keep it.
- Keep restoring the portal and sleep at home from time to time until Dig visits and gives you the Red Eye.
- Take the Red Eye to the wall of Mauritzio's Cheese Cellar in the Sewers. The eye opens the way and is not used up.
- Meet the Old God and make your choice: give the eye back, or keep the Red Eye.

Tips
- Giving the eye back means each of the six key characters must reach 90 reputation for the final help requests. Keeping it raises that to 100 and adds an attic to build, three hidden talents to learn and three extra gifts to craft.
- Both choices lead to the same Last Battle and the same ending options.
